The hermes-qq-onebot project provides a Hermes Agent platform plugin to connect the AI with the QQ ecosystem using the OneBot v11 standard. This adapter supports various OneBot implementations, including NapCat, Lagrange.OneBot, go-cqhttp, and LLOneBot. Key features include easy installation with a single command, a pure plugin design that avoids modifying core Hermes Agent code, and native CQ code support for sending rich messages like images, audio, video, and files directly within text. It also offers on-demand media downloading, merging and forwarding of long messages in group chats, and keyword-triggered responses. The plugin uses a reverse WebSocket connection model, where the adapter acts as a server, and OneBot implementations connect to it, eliminating the need for public IPs or exposed ports. Configuration options allow users to set reverse host/port, access tokens, HTTP API URLs, download limits, merge forward thresholds, reply text limits, and mention patterns for keyword triggering. It also supports user whitelists and environment variable overrides for configuration. The project’s architecture allows Hermes Agent to leverage its full AI capabilities (terminal, browser, files, search) within QQ conversations, making AI more accessible to QQ users.
